Why she finally asked

Lara has a project due: the human figure, drawn from life. The problem isn't talent — her sketchbook is full of beautiful, half-finished things. The problem is that she's shy, the deadline slipped twice, and every reference she tried felt wrong.

Three days left. One page done — and that one's just a really good drawing of her coffee mug. She can't wait any longer. So she does the scariest thing she's ever done: she blurts it out — no buildup, no warning — and asks if you could be the model. Hoping your presence will help her capture the details she's been missing.
